Build up depend on you need and requirement.
Cheap for large quantity SMS send/receive.
Have their own short code or keywords.


Cons:
Expensive, not suitable for personal use.
Must meet certain amount SMS to get cheap rate.
Need expertise to handle, mantain and use.
